# Reset password

Where Kiln & Co.'s reset link lands: a new password with its rules ticked as you type, a confirmation that must match, and Save password.

Built on the Pro forms: the account's email under the heading, a new password whose rules (10 characters, a letter, a number) tick off as you type, a confirmation, and Save password with a spinner that keeps the button's width. A hidden username field lets password managers save it to the right account. A confirmation that doesn't match comes back as its own field error, and the sample server refuses a password known from breaches the same way. Saved, the card says Password changed and offers Sign in; focus moves to it. expired opens on an expired link instead, with Send a new link to the forgot-password page, and a save that the server answers with LINK_EXPIRED switches to it. It opens with a new password half typed; sample={false} opens it empty.

## Installation

This is a Pro item. Once per project, create a token at https://ui.edbn.me/dashboard/tokens, put it in `.env.local` as `EDBN_TOKEN`, and add the registry to `components.json`:
